Creating cost effective alternates

A few days back I was going though some gardening stuff over the net and chanced upon a wonderful blog of a lady who suggested exploring waste stuff of your home for growing plants. She posted some pics also which looked awesome. The scrap which she used was ranging from water bottles to old handbags. I clicked with the idea and tried with some kitchen scrap and..... annnnnnddddd

IT ACTUALLY WORKED... :D

You only need to identify the plants which have a short root system. Mostly seasonal flowers such as balsam, zinnia, petunias and even marigold for that matter. I started with Calendulas which seem to be doing great in these waste Protinex Tins. Each one has tiny buds inside, it's jut a matter of time to show off their bashing colors...

And yes .. don't miss the 1 lt. mineral water bottle accompanying them at the extreme left.

Will post more once the bloom starts. Love you babies muhhhhhhhhh.
